Frozen Shoulder Syndrome is also known as Adhesive Capsulitis is a medical condition involving the shoulder capsule and connective tissue surrounding the shoulder glenohumeral joint.
The cause of adhesive capsulitis is not fully understood and studies shows there may also be an autoimmune component to this medical condition in addition to trauma to the glenohumeral joint.
